William named best dressed
Aug 3, 2006, 15:03 GMT
Britain's Prince William has been named as one of world's best dressed people by America's Vanity Fair magazine.
The 24-year-old royal took his place among supermodels and Hollywood stars in the magazine's International Best Dressed Hall of Fame.
A number of international royals also made the top ten, including Prince Albert of Monaco and Ernst August of Hanover. William took his place alongside actor George Clooney and England footballer David Beckham. Jordan's beautiful Queen Rania claimed second place on the women's list, but was beaten to the coveted top spot by supermodel Kate Moss. Vanity Fair's Amy Fine Collins said: 'Kate Moss captured the highest number of votes in the women's category. Her closest contender, Queen Rania of Jordan, pulled in just slightly more than half of Moss' huge tally.' US Secretary of State, Condoleezza Rice, also made the fashion bible's list due to her 'renegade' fashion sense and love for 'dominatrix boots'. Other stars featured in the who's who of fashion included actress Renée Zellweger, TV star Oprah Winfrey, singer Gwen Stefani, hip-hop artist Kanye West and CNN newsreader Anderson Cooper. Winners of the prestigious poll - which the magazine has been publishing for more than 50 years - are chosen by fashion and beauty industry professionals.Copyright 2006 BANG Media International
