Britain's Duchess of Cornwall celebrates birthday in private
Jul 18, 2006, 13:19 GMT
Britain's Duchess of Cornwall, Camilla Parker Bowles, chose to celebrate her 59th birthday in private, following a difficult year.
Camilla - who marked her birthday yesterday (17.07.06) - opted to spend her special day with husband, Prince Charles, at their countryside estate of Highgrove.
According to Sky.com, Charles and Camilla decided not to attend any public events. The Duchess has faced criticism recently over the number of official engagements she attends, following her alleged refusal to take on more royal duties. She was also left devastated last month by the death of her father. Major Bruce Shand - a former cavalry officer who won two Military crosses for his bravery during World War II - died with Camilla at his bedside after a long battle against cancer.Copyright 2006 BANG Media International

why would anyone care a fig about how a criminal celebrates her birthday? Now, her passing, perhaps, as she was involved in engineering many deaths, how we will celebrate her passing.
