Britain's Princess Beatrice's party snub
Jul 14, 2006, 13:33 GMT
Britain's Princess Beatrice is set to be disappointed as she celebrates her 18th birthday tomorrow (15.07.06) - because hardly any members of the royal family are said to attend.
The youngster might be looking forward to her glitzy bash - expected to be the most spectacular royal party in years - but, it appears, she will have to celebrate with few Buckingham palace guests.
According to Britain's Daily Mail newspaper, Prince Charles and his wife - Duchess of Cornwall, Camilla Parker Bowles - will be tied up in state business. Beatrice's cousins - Princes William and Harry - have reportedly announced they will not be attending either. Beatrice's father, Prince Andrew, is reportedly not impressed with members of his family snubbing the event. A source said: 'There hasn't exactly been a row, but I do know that Prince Andrew is a bit fed up the boys won't be there. 'It's bad form really, because you expect the whole family to be on show at these dos.'Copyright 2006 BANG Media International
