Shocking Princess Diana pictures provoke outrage
Jul 14, 2006, 13:33 GMT
Shocking photographs of Britain's late Princess Diana dying have provoked worldwide outrage.
Pictures of the princess, in the final moments of her life, have been published by Italian magazine Chi.
In the controversial images, Diana is seen lying in her crashed Mercedes, with her head to one side, as a paramedic tries to put an oxygen mask on her. The photos have caused a global rage and Britain has called for a ban on publications reproducing the photographs. According to Britain's The Sun newspaper, Diana's sons William and Harry were 'sickened and appalled' by the images, which were released weeks before the ninth anniversary of her death. The princess - along with her boyfriend Dodi Fayed and chauffer Henri Paul - was killed when the Mercedes she was travelling in crashed into a concrete pillar in a Paris underpass in 1997. Dodi's father, Harrods boss Mohammed Fayed was quoted in Britain's Daily Express newspaper as saying: 'This heartless pursuit of money brings shame on those responsible for producing such a vile publication. 'The editor has not spared a thought for those who loved the Princess, first and foremost her sons.' Fayed - who has always alleged the crash was a plot to stop Dodi and Diana marrying - has flown a prominent JFK conspiracy theorist to London to investigate the accident. Mark Lane was quoted in America's New York Post newspaper as saying: 'I have met with Mr Fayed and reviewed some of the evidence he has uncovered. 'My preliminary inquiry reveals there are numerous and serious unanswered questions which I intend to pursue.'Copyright 2006 BANG Media International

Okay, so money pays the bills, but there has to be a line drawn. Would they want a worldwide published photo of their mom dying? And to add insult to injury, make millions off of it? ....how do these people sleep at night?
