Britain's Princess Anne's official visit to Fiji incurred two serious security breaches on the same day.
In the early hours of Saturday (08.07.06), drunken 24-year-old was found wandering the gardens of Borron House in Suva, where the princess was staying.
Later that day, a large steel garlic crusher was thrown at the royal's car by a psychiatric patient. According to Radio New Zealand, no one was hurt in the second incident; however, the crusher left a visible dent in the side of princess's car. Following the incidents, Fijian government issued an official apology to the royal. The minister for foreign affairs, Kaliopate Tavola, said: 'The government regrets the unfortunate indents but they can happen anywhere around the world because there are crazy people all over the place.' 24-year-old mental patient Hendrix Tuitoga -responsible for throwing the metal crusher - appeared in court yesterday (10.07.06), charged with causing damage to property and criminal intimidation.Princess Anne was in Fiji for three days on a state visit. She arrived on Thursday (06.07.06) evening.
