Britain's Duchess of York goes barefoot at exhibition

Britain's Duchess of York, Sarah Ferguson, reportedly stunned onlookers by touring an art exhibition in New York - barefoot.
The flame-haired royal was accompanied by her daughters, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, who also looked around the display, at an Italian restaurant, in their bare feet.
According to Royalist.com, Ferguson - Prince Andrew's ex-wife - was in Manhattan promoting her new children's book, 'Little Red's Summer Adventure'. It has been reported she is planning to write a book inspired by important people in her life. The memoir, which is set to be published in New York, will be based on people who have had major influence on her. A source told dailysnack.com: 'Someone else will be doing the writing but Sarah will be doing the remembering. 'She is currently in talks with New York publishers about the book, which will contain characters based on people who have featured strongly in her life.'Copyright 2006 BANG Media International
