Britain's Prince Harry's boot troubles
Jun 20, 2006, 13:00 GMT
Britain's Prince Harry turned to his bodyguard for help to remove his riding boots after a polo match.
The young royal needed a hand tugging off his tight leather boots after competing on Sunday (18.06.06), and his willing protection officer stepped in.
According to Britain's Daily Mail newspaper, the display caused laughter among on-lookers. As the suit-clad guard grabbed Harry's heel, the 21-year-old prince pushed his other foot against his helper's backside. After the loyal bodyguard had removed the stubborn boot, the cheeky prince gave him a playful kick on the backside. A by-stander said: 'Harry gave him a fair push but it was all very light-hearted. He seems to have a very good relationship with his protection officers. In fact the officer couldn't stop laughing.' The royal was allowed a day off from military training in Dorset, Southwest England, to compete in the match. The Calcot Manor Hotel Cup - held at Beuford Polo Club, close to prince Charles' home - raised thousands for charity.Copyright 2006 BANG Media International

The seniors at Texas A & M, employ the freshmen cadets. It’s so funny when you’re at the dorms and you hear, “I need a fish!!!” They have to come running too! I always liked hearing stores of them running into each other or getting hit with doors.

It is not uncommon for players to ask the assitance of those around to help take boots of; most especially when thet are new and the leather is not yet 'broken in to'. The alternative would be a boot jack, but most players do not take this piece of equipment to matches.
