Britain's Princes tired at royal celebration
Jun 16, 2006, 19:22 GMT
Britain's Princes William and Harry appeared 'tired' and 'dishevelled' during their grandmother - Queen Elizabeth II's - 80th birthday celebrations yesterday (15.06.06).
The pair continuously rubbed their eyes, as they posed for pictures outside London's St Paul's Cathedral - where the official ceremony took place.
According to Britain's Daily Record newspaper, the young royals' tired state was explained by heavy partying before yesterday's event. Reportedly, just hours before the service, the care-free princes - accompanied by William's girlfriend Kate Middleton - were indulging in beer, vodka and champagne at an exclusive London nightclub. A source said: 'They started the night looking stylish and sophisticated and were on their best behaviour. 'But the princes looked dishevelled after about six hours drinking. 'Harry had glassy eyes and was light on his feet. When he left, he went the wrong way and had to be guided by his bodyguard.' However, despite appearing slightly worse-for-wear, princes carried out their royal duty flawlessly at yesterday's celebration - and even managed a smile for the cameras.Copyright 2006 BANG Media International
