Britain's Prince Harry's Army Major may miss Queen's birthday

Britain's Prince Harry's Army Major may miss Queen Elizabeth II's birthday celebrations.
Harry and the rest of his Household Cavalry are due to line up for 'inspection' by the Queen at the annual Trooping The Colour ceremony.
The event - which marks the official birthday of the Queen - is usually led by Major General Sebastian Roberts, who commands the Household Division. However, the Major was involved in a horse riding accident last week and injured his knee, which means he might be unable to ride. A source was quoted in Britain's The Independent newspaper as saying: 'It's touch and go, but it looks like he may have to be a spectator on the day.' If Roberts does miss the ceremony, it is set to disappoint the prince, as the Major has on many occasions praised Harry's progress in the Household Cavalry and described him as 'an enthusiastic and capable officer'.Copyright 2006 BANG Media International
