New Diana evidence
Jun 2, 2006, 18:17 GMT
Events leading up to the death of Britain's late Princess Diana are set to be revealed in a computer reconstruction.
Former Metropolitan police chief Lord Stevens - who is leading the investigation into the fatal 1997 car crash - has promised the high-tech recreation will finally give 'the definitive answer' to the tragedy.
The revolutionary technology is set to determine exactly what happened on August 30 when Mercedes, carrying Diana and her boyfriend, Dodi Al Fayed, crashed in the Alma Tunnel in Paris. According to Britain's Daily Mail newspaper, police will be able to put together a virtual reality film, re-tracing the events of that night. Lord Stevens appeared confident yesterday (01.06.06), as he promised his team was coming close to solving the mystery. He said: 'We're using the latest technology that the French didn't have obviously seven or eight years ago. Even they're impressed with what we're doing. 'We can use reality television in terms of what the car did, how it performed on that day - the forensic side of this has advanced massively.' It is yet to be decided whether the video will be made available to general public. The investigator also revealed new evidence had surfaced and admitted it was 'quite extraordinary how things were advancing.' He said: 'We've got new witnesses and we're going through new techniques and the rest of it and we're just absolutely determined to make sure that this is a through job and we're not going to be hurried into it.' As a part of the investigation, Lord Stevens had the mangled Mercedes brought back to the UK from France for forensic analysis. He revealed yesterday how British officers had taken the vehicle apart 'bolt by bolt' to have every part of it checked. In addition to the thorough inspection of the car, an identical vehicle has been tested along the tunnel route in Paris - to establish possible similarities. Recently Lord Stevens confirmed he was regularly meeting with millionaire tycoon Mohammed Al Fayed - father of Diana's lover Dodi Al Fayed. Mohammed - the owner of London's exclusive department store Harrods - has been relentlessly calling for more investigations into the fatal crash and has on numerous occasions suggested the possibility of conspiracy. Asked recently if he was aware of conspiracy theories surrounding the crash, Lord Stevens said: 'We are dealing with each and every conspiracy theory. We will go where the conspiracy takes us and I intend to finish the job. It is a complex business and it is taking time.'Copyright 2006 BANG Media International

The ghost of Princess Diana continues to haunt the Royals and has destroyed much of their esteem .In a recent ITV Poll in England on the Royal family ,Charles only got 4%, and Camilla only 1%, of the TV vote.At least Camilla can take heart that she is still marginally more popular ,in the eyes of the public, than Adolf Hitler.
However, for the future King and Queen , there is little respect for them .Charles and Camilla's treacherous adultary set off a chain of events which culminated in the tragic death of the 'Queen of Hearts'.May she rest in Peace.
i don`t understand all this what happening
I am sick to death of the way that the government in the uk just ignors so many issues. The BBC in particular seems to be terrified to say what the majority of the british people are thinking especially anything regarding the Royals. Camilla and Charles are a disgrace and we are sick of seeing this ghastly woman Camilla tottering around and smiling as though she was a decent woman. At the end of the day she and Charles caused Diana's death. What a horror this all is. Barry ..........UK

No, I will *not* fill out your surveyJun 3rd, 2006 - 13:01:31
Went and looked at everything else I needed to look at, tried again, couldn't get any articles to display because of your insistence that I fill out your little survey. Well, I *will not* fill it out, and it's too bad I can't use expletives, because you deserve every one in the book - in capital letters.
