Prince Harry's polo charity
May 31, 2006, 14:20 GMT
Britain's Prince Harry has entered the World Class Polo Cup - to raise money for charity.
The handsome Prince, who has just started the second stage of his military officer training, took to the saddle on Sunday (28.05.06).
However, the 21-year-old royal had more than games in mind when he entered the competition to raise funds for his Aids charity - Sentable. According to Britain's Hello! magazine, proceeds from the event are set to go to the non-profit organization, which Harry set up in Africa, in memory of his late mother - Britain's Princess Diana. The charity, which in translation means 'forget me not', has been established to care for African orphans, who have lost their parents to Aids. Harry travelled to Africa last month to launch his charity at an orphanage in the South African state of Lesoto, which he visited two years ago. The onlookers were moved as Harry was reunited with an orphan, whom he befriended during his previous visit. It was reported that when the royal made his emotional return to the Mants'ase Children's Home, he immediately asked about the whereabouts of his little pal. As the pair were reunited, Harry picked up the six-year-old Mutsu Potsane to give him a good swing on his shoulders and went on to give the boy a good cuddle.Copyright 2006 BANG Media International
