Pink attacks royal bearskin

US singer Pink has pleaded with Britain's Queen Elizabeth to withdraw the bearskin hats worn by the Brigade of Guards at Buckingham Palace.
The feisty star - an advocate of animal rights - wrote directly to the monarch with the request during a recent visit to Britain to promote her new album.
She is quoted by website Sky.com as saying: 'One or two Canadian bears are killed for each hat and that's totally unnecessary when they could by wearing faux instead. 'I think the queen will listen to me because there is no reason for the guards to continue to wear these when animals are being killed just so they look good. It's a work in progress.' In response to Pink's pleas a spokesman for the Brigade of Guards said: 'We have heard from PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) on this issue and would be willing to wear a fake fur if a suitable alternative to the real thing could be found. 'But PETA have been unable to supply anything that stands up to the wear, durability and practicality of real fur.'Copyright 2006 BANG Media International

Screw the royals. I hate them. They killed Tigers and other endanger wildlife i just watch a doc on animal furs and overall it's all down right wrong (china is the worst, they beat the animals and skin them alive and i bet it's no different in where ever else)I never liked Pink but I agree 100%. Screw the royals, hope they die, i would skin them alive if i could see how they like it. F**k them.

complete crap..people shouldnt kill animals to look good...its shit n un fair..we wouldnt like to be killed for our har or skins would we so stop doing it to them...pinks write.
