Harry's football fun
May 4, 2006, 17:57 GMT
Britain's Prince Harry joined a South African football team- to impress his girlfriend.
The royal football fan joined his girlfriend Chelsy Davy's brother for a game at the University of Cape Town- where Chelsy also studies business and economics.
The young Prince - who arrived at Cape Town last week to visit his sweetheart- even donned a football top in the colours of the local league. As Harry chased the ball, the 21-year-old daughter of a South African multimillionaire looked on from the side of the pitch with clear admiration. However, after a reported week of boozing with his party-loving girlfriend, Harry looked worse for wear as the bright rays were taking effect on the exhausted royal. An onlooker told Britain's The Sun newspaper: 'At one point Chelsy laughed as Harry held his head in his hands and told her, 'I feel rotten!' 'Harry asked if anyone wanted to come on as a substitute. But Shaun told him to play on.' Since arriving at the country, Harry,22, has been staying at Chelsy's 350,000GBP flat on the edge of Cape Town- and the couple have reportedly been enjoying quality time together. A source told Britain's The Sun newspaper: 'They've been pulling down the blinds and getting on with enjoying each other. But they've also been doing the nightclubs then having lazy lie-ins.' Harry flew to Cape Town straight from the African state of Lesotho, where he launched a charity for Aids orphans. Last month Harry allegedly threatened to leave the Army if he isn't sent to the front line. The prince was commissioned as a second lieutenant in the Household Cavalry after graduating from Sandhurst - but said he would quit if his royal status stops him joining his unit in war zones. Britain's Mail on Sunday newspaper said Harry told Sandhurst instructors: 'If I am not allowed to join my unit in a war zone, I will hand in my uniform.'Copyright 2006 BANG Media International
