May 1, 2006, 12:35 GMT
Britain's Duchess Of York cheered up teenage cancer sufferers with a visit to a London hospital on Wednesday (26.04.2006).
Sarah Ferguson spent a full afternoon chatting and joking with patients at the Teenage Cancer Trust unit of London's University College Hospital.
The red-haired royal is an ardent campaigner for charities trying to combat the illness after experiencing a cancer scare of her own in 1998.
Prince Andrew's ex-wife and mother to his two teenage children has had a difficult few years following her divorce in 1996 but is currently enjoying more favourable attention after losing weight.
She has been offered her own reality TV show helping overweight families shift the excess bulk. A Channel 4 insider said: 'She's lost so much weigh in the past and would love to help other families hoping to shed the pounds.'Copyright 2006 BANG Media International
