Apr 4, 2006, 18:02 GMT
Britain's Queen Elizabeth II is to guest star in a children's cartoon to mark her 80th birthday.
The monarch will appear brandishing a sword as part of popular children's show 'The Amazing Adrenalini Brothers'.
During the cartoon, the leader of the Adrenalinis, Xan, loses a precious red cape under the wheels of the queen's carriage. The trio of brothers then creep into Buckingham Palace in a bid to get it back. Their mission ends with Xan having a sword fight with the queen. Series director Claire Underwood admits the monarch may not be too pleased with her animated character. She is quoted in Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper as saying: 'We caricatured her in a cheeky way, so bang goes my chance of being Dame Claire!'
Producer David Hodgson added: 'Viewers will see the queen in a new light - we really hope she is not unamused.'
The episode, called 'Cape of Majesty', will be screened on Britain's ITV channel at 3.55pm on April 21.Copyright 2006 BANG Media International
