Mar 2, 2006, 15:16 GMT
Britain's Sarah Ferguson has been asked to host her own reality TV show.
The programme would move the Duchess of York, the ex-wife of Prince Andrew until 1996, into the homes of overweight families.
In return, she will offer them tips and guidance on how to diet and help them embrace healthier lifestyles. The 46-year-old royal has been offered the deal by British TV station Channel 4. Ferguson - who has two teenager daughters, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie - has fought an ongoing battle with her own weight for many years. A Channel 4 insider told Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper: 'Sarah is very excited about this TV project and she's keen to do it. 'She's lost so much weight in the past and would love to help other families hoping to shed the pounds. 'Sarah is knowledgeable about food issues and she's keen to use her expertise to help others. She has loved doing TV shows in the States. She now feels confident enough to return to Britain to do some more TV. The insider added: 'She is such a friendly, outgoing woman that everyone believes the public will really warm to her.'Copyright 2006 BANG Media International
