London - London's Buckingham Palace launched a special website Wednesday to mark the 80th birthday of Queen Elizabeth II on April 21.
www.royal.gov.uk/queen80. shows photographs, documents and other archive material charting the life of the Queen, who has reigned for more than five decades.
There is also a quiz on the Queen's life and a page enabling visitors to send her a birthday greeting.
For schools, the website has a free two-metre commemorative timeline wall chart.
Filled with illustrations, it shows some of the historic events and social changes which have taken place within the last 80 years, alongside key events in the Queen's life.
The Monarch has her official birthday celebration on 17 June.
