William and Kate's love nest

A Scottish love nest - complete with a bath for two - is being prepared for Britain's Prince William and girlfriend Kate Middleton.
A 120-year-old Scottish cottage has been given an £80,000 facelift so the young couple can use it as a getaway during the royal family's annual holiday in August.
An insider revealed to Britain's Hello magazine: 'William and his girlfriend spent ages looking around the place last year. 'Apparently they thought it would make a nice holiday home. It will look superb and will offer the couple all the privacy they need.' Tucked away among pine trees on the queen's Balmoral estate, the rundown building is having a second-floor extension added. The renovation will turn the former gamekeeper's home into a mini royal residence, complete with all mod cons including gas central heating, a new kitchen and a large, round bath that builders were seen installing a few days ago. The the house is only a two-minute walk from Charles' and Camilla's mansion, Birkhall.Copyright 2006 BANG Media International
