Kate Middleton gets 24-hour protection

Britain's Prince William has reportedly organised 24-hour protection for girlfriend Kate Middleton.
The handsome royal - who is currently enrolled in officer training at Sandhurst Military Academy - is so determined stunning Kate won't be hounded by the press or public, he's made sure she is surrounded by security at all times.
The 23-year-old has also made sure the brunette beauty, who he met at St Andrews University, has her own police call sign and can contact his most senior minders at any time. A family friend is quoted in Britain's News of The World newspaper as saying: 'This is more than the Duchess of Cornwall had before she was married and certainly more than his mother (Princess Diana) got.' William also had state-of-the-art security installed at 24-year-old Kate's plush London apartment, and ordered experts to search for bugs. The source revealed: 'They were looking for ways to bring the property up to the full security level for a member of the royal family with alarms, panic buttons, motion sensors. 'They also check for listening devices. William wants to make sure she is as safe as she can possibly be while he is still at Sandhurst.' Exactly, I certainly would not like to be contributing my tax dollars to help protect the President's love life. I know they have been dating for three years, but William is still very young. I just hope he realizes that Kate isn't the only fish in the sea. I definitely would be keeping my guard up when it comes to Kate if I were William, especially since there has been speculations of her being after his money and fame.
Kate Middleton (including her POSH and EXTRAVAGANT lifestyle) along with Prince William seem oh so very snobby!!!

Who the bloody hell is paying for all of this? Unless I missed something, they are not even married. I hope her self made millionaire father is the one picking up the tab. The tax payers pay to protect their government officials and not the flavor of the month.
Yes, I know they have been dating for almost three years, but she and Ms. Davy are not poor people. She should have to hire a bodyguard like every other celebrity…are they even celebrities? If he dumped her tomorrow, half the girls in the world would be waiting in the wings.
I am just glad the good old Continental Congress with their Revolutionary War prevented us Americans from having to contribute to this quagmire of expenses.
