Princess Diana's ballet shoes for sale
Feb 9, 2006, 14:52 GMT
Ballet shoes belonging to Britain's Princess Diana are up for sale on internet auction site, eBay.
The late princess was an avid ballerina in her teenage years before she grew too tall to dance professionally.
The ballet shoes which she wore during the 1970s when she lived at English country home Althorp were sold during a private sale several years ago and are now up on eBay.com with a starting price of $8,000. The seller writes: 'The slippers were used by Diana to practice ballet at Althorp back in 1979. 'They have been preserved in a case and they come with absolute proof of them being Diana Spencer's. 'Both the slippers are signed by the princess.'&EngCP; BANG Media InternationalCopyright 2006 BANG Media International
