Jan 19, 2006, 16:17 GMT
Prince Michael of Kent is to be the guest of honour at the UK Premiere of new film, 'Sharks 3D'.
The movie - which focuses on the importance of shark conservation - will be screened for the first time at the IMAX theatre in Bristol next Wednesday (25.01.06).
Dr. Jon Hutton, Director of the UNEP World Conservation Monitoring Centre and Jean-Jacques Mantello, the film's director, will talk to journalists and guests about the world of shark conservation. 'Sharks 3D' document's the life of nature's ultimate, yet endangered predator, while delivering a compelling conservation message. The film's director, Jean-Jaques Mantello said: 'The film's purpose is to lead people to think differently and, ultimately, positively about sharks. 'As many fellow conservationists have stated before, we protect only what we love. Therefore, we first need to understand what sharks are really like before there can be a change in public perception. Then perhaps we will begin to protect them.'Copyright 2006 BANG Media International
