Prince Harry's friend questioned by police over girls' school incident

The best friend of Britain's Prince Harry has been questioned by police after breaking into a girls' school "looking for girls".

Guy Pelly, notorious for his booze-fuelled antics at royal parties, went on the rampage with pal James Murray Wells, 22, in the early hours on Christmas Eve.

Pelly, 23 - also a friend of Prince William - was reportedly so drunk he did not realise the boarding school was empty.

The pair broke into £20,000-a- year Westonbirt School near Prince Charles' Gloucestershire home Highgrove.

A caretaker called police when he heard them banging on windows looking for girls.

However, the prank almost ended in tragedy when Murray Wells fell from a 100ft tower.

Luckily, a rooftop broke the millionaire website boss' fall and he was rushed to hospital with a broken leg after being quizzed by police.

Pelly, who was blamed for introducing Price Harry to cannabis, is now boasting about the escapade in his favourite pubs.

A friend revealed to Britain's The Sun newspaper: "They had been drinking solidly and decided to see if they could find some girls.

"They started banging on windows. Then they found a ladder to look for bedrooms but saw the tower and decided to scale it as a bet.

"Fortunately James fell on the roof, not the ground.

"Guy thinks it's hilarious and has been telling everyone, including Prince Harry."

Police have confirmed they questioned the pair but decided not to arrest them.
