Prince William photographed kissing girlfriend on ski slope

London - Britain's Prince William, usually keen to keep his private life private, was photographed in British tabloids Thursday kissing his girlfriend Kate Middleton in public.

After skiing down a breathtaking slope in the Swiss resport of Klosters, the 23-year-old prince put his arm around Kate, also 23, and kissed her on the lips, the Daily Mail reported.

The newspaper, which along with the Sun published a photograph of the kiss, said William and Kate, who have been together for four years, embraced for several seconds before continuing down the mountain together.

With separation looming - William is due to join an officer training course at Sandhurst military academy later this week - the couple were clearly determined to 'make the most' of their time together, said the Mail.

'It was very romantic and lasted several moments,' an onlooker told the Sun.

'Although their lives are about to change, they're determined not to let that spoil what they've got,' a close friend told the Sun.
