Britain's Prince Harry has taken girlfriend Chelsy Davy to stay at royal residence Highgrove for the first time.
The pretty blonde joined the young prince at the family's Gloucestershire home on Saturday (19.11.05), where she spent the day with his father Prince Charles, his wife Camilla and Harry's brother Prince William. The visit is being viewed as an indication of the seriousness of the couple's 18-month romance.
The stunning student - who is studying commerce and economics in South Africa - flew in to Britain's Heathrow airport from Cape Town on Friday (18.11.05) and spent the evening with a friend.
On Saturday she went shopping before meeting 21-year-old Harry and accompanying him to Highgrove.
Harry spoke for the first time about his romance with Chelsy in an interview to mark his 21st birthday in September.
The prince, who is currently completing his army officer trainer at Sandhurst Royal Military Academy, gushed about the 19-year-old beauty, saying she is "amazing". He revealed: "My girlfriend is somebody who is very special to me and yes, she's gone through some very hard times. I would love to tell everybody how amazing she is.
"But you know this is my private life and once I start talking about that, then I've left my own self open."
Harry also revealed Chelsy gets upset at reports portraying her as a party girl.
He said in the interview, which he gave to Sky News, BBC Radio and the Press Association: "I get to see how upset she gets and I know the real her. "Unfortunately, I can't turn to people and say, 'Listen, she's not like that, she's like this'.
"But it's part of the baggage that comes with me, and she understands that and my friends understand that as well."
