Prince William's stint with the Bolshoi Ballet
Oct 21, 2005, 16:08 GMT
Britain's Prince William has been working as a stage hand for Russia's esteemed Bolshoi Ballet.
The 23-year-old royal has been helping organise sets for the world famous troupe during his work experience at a country estate, where the ballerinas are performing 'The Golden Spinning Wheel'.
According to a royal aide, the handsome prince thoroughly enjoyed working with the dancers.
The aide told Scotland's Daily Record newspaper: "He was very keen to get involved with the ballet. He got on very well with the dancers, who were very surprised to see him there."
The work placement is part of William's plan to work in a variety of positions at different organisations before he decides his future.
The prince will also work in London and will join a mountain rescue team.
He revealed: "The work experience in the city was something I was particularly keen to do as I feel this is an area in which I could learn a lot, and it may well help me with charitable fundraising in the future.
"The land management will hopefully allow me to develop skills and an understanding of how to best look after the countryside."
