Princess Diana's former butler calls for Charles to stand aside
Oct 19, 2005, 15:00 GMT
Princess Diana's former butler, Paul Burrell, has called for Britain's Prince Charles to stand aside and let his son William be the next king.
The disgraced former servant says he does not want to see Charles become King of England or his wife Camilla become Queen, and believes William should be next in line to replace Queen Elizabeth.
Speaking at a private function at a hotel in Wiltshire, England, Burrell said: "I personally do not want to see King Charles and Queen Camilla on the throne.
"The only hope for the royal family is William. Charles should give up.
"Princess Diana said that he was not fit for the top job and I think that prophecy will come true."
Since he ended his royal duties, Burell, 46, appeared on British reality TV show, 'I'm A Celebrity.Get Me Out Of Here', in 2004 and has become a television personality.

I agree. Prince Charles disgraced the throne with his affair and should step aside.
