Prince Charles reportedly wants to hire spin doctor

Britain's Prince Charles reportedly wants to hire the spin doctor who helped stop his marriage to Camilla becoming a PR disaster.
The heir to the British throne is hoping Sir Malcolm Ross - who is an expert on royal ceremony - will join his team of aides, according to a report in Britain's News of the World newspaper.
Ross, Comptroller in the Lord Chamberlain's Office, leaves Buckingham Palace early next year.
If he joins the prince's team Ross will replace Kevin Knott, who resigned in the months leading up to Charles and Camilla's wedding earlier this year.
Meanwhile, it has been revealed Charles has banned an interviewer from asking him questions about ex-wife Princess Diana when he appears on TV next month.
The royal is set to be interviewed on US show '60 Minutes' to launch his and Camilla's American tour - and has allegedly insisted his former wife isn't mentioned.
A source told Britain's Sunday Express newspaper: "Charles is making every effort to try to replace her in people's affections with Camilla. That is clearly why he was at pains to insist that Diana's name not be mentioned.
"To put it bluntly, it was made obvious that the late Diana, even as a subject of discussion, is dead and buried."

Adding another comment re the news story about Prince Charles refusing to allow questions about his late wife by 60 Minutes, it would be the heighth of rudeness and totally inappropriate to raise the subject of the late Princess Diana. PD has been dead for eight or nine years and I do wish people would stop trying to figuratively dig her up.
