Britain's Prince Andrew made a surprise appearance in Melbourne on Tuesday (27.09.05).
The prince and the deposed king of Greece attended the opening of a global conference of schools in Australia.
The British royal addressed representatives from 19 countries, who were attending the annual meeting of the Round Square movement.
The movement is an association of more than 50 schools from five continents who use the theories of educational philosopher Kurt Hahn to teach their students.
Delegates at the conference, which runs until Friday (30.09.05), will share their ideas and beliefs on the present unrest in the world.
More than 70 schools from across Australia and the world - from Britain, the US, Canada, Japan, Bermuda and several African nations - are attending the annual meeting.
King Constantine II - who fled Greece's military junta in 1967 - is believed to have attended the AFL grand final on Saturday with his friend Kevan Gosper, a member of the International Olympic Committee.
