Prince Harry reveals big brother William is his closest confidante

Britain's Prince Harry has revealed big brother William is his closest confidante.

The 21-year-old royal, who is dating South African beauty Chelsy Davy, says his older sibling is the only person he can talk to about anything and everything.

He said in an interview to mark his birthday: "He is the one person on this earth who I can actually, really. We can talk about anything. We understand each other and we give each other support."

The brother became particularly close after the tragic death of their mother, Princess Diana, in 1997.

Harry revealed: "Luckily, we've had the chance of growing up together, going through the same stuff as each other.

"If I find myself in really hard times, then at least I can turn to him, and vice versa, and at least we can look after each other."

The red-haired prince has also confessed he is relieved William has the duty to become king, and not him.

He explained to Sky News, Press Association and BBC Radio: "I would say it's almost harder for William than for me.

"He knows what he's got to do. He's got to. I'm not saying he doesn't want to. I'm just saying that's something that's been set up and that's what he's got to deal with."
