Prince William patron of same charity his late mother adopted

Britain's Prince William has become patron of the same youth homelessness charity his late mother adopted.
The 23-year-old has spent the last two days continuing Princess Diana's legacy by volunteering at one of Centrepoint's London shelters.
The young royal met with homeless youngsters and helped them find temporary accommodation.
He said: "I have always been deeply concerned for those people, especially young people, who - for whatever reason - find themselves living on the streets or without a proper home.
"Charities like Centrepoint do such an amazing job in helping to combat homelessness and social exclusion and I just wanted to lend my support to their remarkable efforts."
Centrepoint chief executive said: "William is so committed to homeless young people. He is the same age as many of the young people we support and he gets on so well with them."
Royal insiders claim the move show's William's growing willingness to embrace his royal duties.
Princess Diana - who became patron of the charity in 1992 - famously used to take William and his younger brother, Prince Harry, to visit shelters before she was tragically killed in a Paris car crash in 1997.
