The Sultan of Brunei has married his second wife.
The 58-year-old ruler, who was once the world's richest man, has wed former newsreader Azrinaz Mazhar Hakim - who, at 26, is 32 years his junior.
Only close friends and family attended the royal wedding, which took place in a small ceremony in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, according to the New Straits Times newspaper.
In accordance with Islam, the men of Brunei are allowed four wives - Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah already has one wife, Her Majesty Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Saleha.
However, he divorced his first second wife, former air hostess Mariam Abdul Aziz, two years ago.
Last month, the sultan's first wife fulfilled her royal duties by welcoming the spouses of three foreign envoys into the Istana Nurul Iman.
The three women were at the palace - which is the official residence of His Majesty the Sultan - to be granted farewell audiences with Her Majesty.
The royal granted audiences to Ibu Praptiningsih Yusbar, the wife of the outgoing Indonesian Ambassador to Brunei Darussalam, Mrs Salihah Farhat-Ud-Deen, wife of the outgoing Pakistan High Commissioner and Rebecca Stanford Christy, the wife of the United States Ambassador to the country.
