Britain's Princess Anne was has reportedly been left "shocked" after a man was killed in a quad bike accident at her Cotswolds estate.
Daniel Brookman, 19, was killed after the 4x4 vehicle rolled over on a slope, throwing him off and crushing his chest.
The teenager had been working to clear away jumps and fences after the annual Festival of British Eventing held at Princess Anne's Gatcombe Park home.
He was pronounced dead after being rushed to hospital.
His mother Ruth, 42, is quoted in Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper as saying: "Everyone loved him, if they knew him for a long or short time. He has left a huge hole in all lives."
She added her son has worked at other horse trials attended by members of the Royal family.
A member of staff at Gatcombe Estate has informed the family that Princess Anne will offer her condolences.
A 20-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and later freed on bail following the incident on Sunday (07.08.05).
