Bookmakers have slashed their odds on Britain's Prince William tying the knot with stunning girlfriend Kate Middleton.
The decision by bookies William Hill follows the news that Prince Charles has allowed Kate to stay at Clarence House.
She will share William's apartment - fuelling speculation they are accepted as a serious couple.
The bookies are now offering 3-1 against a wedding in 2008 - even though the prince said earlier this year he wouldn't marry until he was at least 28. The 23-year-old has been dating Kate - who is the daughter of a millionaire mail order boss - since they met at St Andrew's University in 2001.
The brunette, who is also 23, has reportedly been accepted by the Royal family, while William's grandparents, Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, are said to adore her.
William Hill bookmakers are also offering 3-1 the couple will not marry by 2011, 33-1 they will marry this year and 8-1 for a 2006 wedding.
