Prince William's girlfriend allowed to stay over at Clarence House
Aug 8, 2005, 15:02 GMT
Britain's Prince Charles is reportedly allowing his son Prince William's girlfriend stay over at his Clarence House home.
Sources claim 23-year-old Kate Middleton is set to move in to her royal boyfriend's apartment in the London residence after winning his father's approval.
An insider is quoted by Britain's Daily Star newspaper as saying: "Charles and his wife, Camilla, both adore Kate and have encouraged William to ask her to move into Clarence House.
"Kate has already got some of her clothes and possessions in William's apartment."
The smitten pair, who met at St Andrew's University four years ago, had been living together in Scotland before they graduated in June.
They were planning to buy their own house together in London, but Prince Charles is said to have advised against it.
He reportedly he feared for William's security and feels his son will be safer at Clarence House, an official royal residence.
Meanwhile, Kate is also said to be house-hunting for her own pad in London's Notting Hill.
William and Kate recently enjoyed a three-week safari adventure together in Africa.
The handsome prince jetted out to Kenya for the romantic escape, which royal aides claim shows how "very serious" he is about Kate.

I hope they don't move in. She's obviously a golddigger.
