From Monsters and Critics.com People News Cynthia Nixon found it easing coming out as a lesbian because she lived in New York. The actress - who split from partner Danny Mozes in 2005 to start a same-sex relationship with Christine Marinoni - knew her decision to openly admit she was gay would not be an issue in the 'Big Apple' because it is such a diverse city. She said: "I feel when you live in that city there are so many different kids of people that it's really a non-issue. "I'm very aware that in other places it's very different and unpleasant and even dangerous, but in New York it's a whole other thing." Cynthia has also revealed that Christine is great at helping out with her two children - daughter Samantha, 12, and six-year-old Charles Ezekiel. The actress, who reprises her role lawyer Miranda Hobbes, said: "I feel like Christine is much more intuitive about what's going on with me. Together we shop and cook and raise the children, and there's much more of a sense of the task at hand. We both pitch in." (C) BANG Media International © Copyright 2007 by monstersandcritics.com.
