Rachael Ray’s husband speaks out on rumors

Rachael Ray’s rocker husband, John Cusimano, opened up about married life with the television kitchen queen and dealing with tabloid rumors of marital problems.

He told Extra, “It was like, ‘What?’ It’s so frickin’ weird but now I think of it as, ‘Ah, comes with the territory.’”

Cusimano also revealed that he might have never married Ray if she wasn’t a fan of his band. “What I didn’t know was she secretly, and told me later, said, ‘Oh no. This guy’s in a band. I hope he doesn’t suck.’”

Ray's favorite thing to do at home is exactly what she does all day at work — cook.

“She cooks all the time!” her husband John Cusimano told OK! at the Food Bank event. “She’ll be at work and have to cook three or four meals. To unwind, believe it or not, she likes to cook.”

“Me and my stomach are very happy about it,” he says.  “We eat a largely Mediterranean diet, so lots of canned fish, lots of canned tomatoes, lots of canned peas, lots of fish,”
