From Monsters and Critics.com People News Eva Mendes temporarily left rehab yesterday (07.02.08) to visit her boyfriend. The 'Hitch' actress checked into Utah's Cirque Lodge clinic last week, but decided to take a break and fly to Los Angeles to be with producer George Gargurevich. Her representative said: "Eva is attending to some personal business in Los Angeles and intends to return to complete her treatment shortly." Despite reports the 33-year-old beauty is seeking help for substance abuse, her representative denied the rumours, saying she is being treated for "personal issues". Her spokeswoman said: "Eva has been working hard for the past year and made a positive decision to take some much-needed time off to proactively attend to some personal issues that, while not critical, she felt deserved some outside professional support."
