Simon 'Cuddly' Cowell

Leona Lewis has nicknamed Simon Cowell "Mr. Cuddly".

The 'Bleeding Love' singer insists 'The X Factor' judge doesn't live up to his TV nickname of 'Mr. Nasty' and is secretly a very nice person.

Leona said: "The most shocking 'X Factor' secret is discovering Simon isn't actually Mr. Nasty - he is Mr. Nice, Mr. Cuddly!

"When I first met him, I was so scared of him, but when you get to know him he's charming. Now I'm not scared of Simon in the slightest.

"The ladies love him and he's very well respected. When I went to see him in 'American Idol', he got the biggest reaction from the audience. People went crazy, they love him. Of course, he is loving it too!"

The 22-year-singer also revealed she has learnt to stand up for herself after facing 'The X Factor' judging panel.

She added to TOTP magazine: "Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but I don't think people should say bad things about people for no reason. I can stand up for myself though. I'm not going to let people walk all over me."
