Colin Farrell trying to keep sex tape private
By Cindy Locke Jul 19, 2005, 15:52 GMT
Colin Farrell is suing former girlfriend Nicole Narain in Los Angeles Supreme Court in an attempt to stop her from distributing a sex tape the couple made 2 ½ years ago.
The tape made by Farrell and Narain, a model and Playboy playmate, is 15-minutes long and was made for their sole personal enjoyment. They agreed to jointly own the tape and never distribute it publicly or commercially.
The tape of Farrell performing various sex acts surfaced in mid-July when his talent agent was contacted by David Hans Schmidt, who said he was working with Narain and Paul Nash. Nash is the marketing director of the Internet Commerce Group, which owns pornographic websites.
The complaint alleges that Schmidt, Narain and Nash have contacted members of the media to discuss the tape and selling it.
Farrell is seeking unspecified damages and a permanent injunction against distribution of the tape, and that all copies be returned to him.
