Liz Hurley planning Indian princess-style wedding
By Cindy Locke Jun 16, 2005, 14:56 GMT
Liz Hurley plans to honor her future husband, Arun Nayar, by having a traditional Hindu wedding ceremony next February. That means she won’t be wearing a white wedding dress. Instead, she’ll be donning a red sari and arriving on an elephant.
She has told close friends and family to plan being in North-east India for an entire month during the celebration.
"Liz has made up her mind that she wants an Indian princess-style wedding," a source told the Daily Record.
"She loves the colorful traditions of the country and wants to embrace them. She is very keen to involve elephants in some way and hopes to arrive on one - but it depends on logistics and whether it actually fits in with the ceremony."
"It will be a spectacular affair with no expense spared to show the world how much she loves Arun."
