Michael Jackson Verdict In – Not Guilty
By Cindy Locke Jun 13, 2005, 23:05 GMT
The jury in the Michael Jackson molestation case has reached a verdict after six days of deliberation. The verdict was read and broadcast live from the court room at 2:15pm (PST). Michael Jackson was found not guilty on all ten counts.
The verdict was scheduled to be read at 1:30pm, but Jackson’s schedule didn’t permit him being at the courthouse by that time. He arrived at 1:50pm with his mother, father, two brothers, Latoya and Janet Jackson.
Fans from around the world stood outside the gate and yelled at the media as they walked by and screamed words of encouragement to Jackson as he arrived at the courthouse.
