Tom Sizemore turns down role to stay sober

Actor Tom Sizemore was offered a role in the forthcoming movie The Fifth Commandment, but turned it down to continue his battle with substance abuse.Sizemore has been clean for three weeks, but is taking time off to kick the habit for good. “The reason I don't want to do the movie is real simple. I need some clean time, some real clean time.”He went on to say, “I want it to be over - for me - for this nightmare of drug abuse to be over with and to get on with my career. After some careful consideration and a long talk with my parents, I've decided to turn it down until I get 30 to 60 days sobriety.”
