Kathy Hilton got some advice on her new reality series I Want to Be a Hilton from her daughter, Paris. Hilton told New York’s Daily News, “Paris always said, 'Mom, forget the camera's there,' and I did.”
In the reality show, debuting June 21 on NBC, Hilton guides 14 young contestants through the challenges of the New York society scene. The winner will be bankrolled to live like a rich socialite for a year. “I wanted people who would like the opportunity to be exposed to different challenges and culture. I fell in love with each and every one of these candidates. They're entertaining. They have a lot of heart and a lot of soul.”
Mrs. Hilton also commented on the Paris’s fiancé, Paris Latsis, “He is most gentle, kind, brilliant and very, very low-key. I've never seen Paris this happy in her life.”
When asked about her daughter’s burger TV ad where Paris washes a Bentley wearing a skimpy bathing suit, Hilton said, “What is she supposed to wear, a ballgown?”
