Holmes Household is Excited About Katie and Tom

When Marty Holmes heard the news about his daughter, Katie Holmes, dating Tom Cruise, he was more than thrilled.
“We’re very excited for Katie,” said Holmes, a Toledo attorney. “She’s a very mature young lady with a good head on her shoulders.”
The family has yet to meet cruise, but they believe Tom is a good catch. “From all we have read and heard about him, he’s a humanitarian and a real class act. From the perspective of being a parent, we’re very excited for both of them.”
When asked about the 16 year age difference, Holmes said, “I’ve seen a lot of unconventional relationships flourish. From my perspective as an attorney, this is not a factor.”

cruise is 16 years older, in a cult, and twice divorced. holmes family calims the whole catholic family virtues thing - wonder how much money plays into them changing their world views?
