Joaquin Phoenix Tackles Alcoholism

Hollywood actor Joaquin Phoenix has checked himself into an alcohol rehab clinic.
Phoenix, star of The Village, Gladiator and Signs, booked himself into an unnamed clinic two weeks ago.
A spokesperson for the actor told Reuters news agency that Phoenix was "uncomfortable with the way that he was living his life and found the courage to deal with the disease."
The actor's brother, River Phoenix, died of a drug overdose in 1993 after a night in the infamous LA nightclub the Viper Room.
