Wow, Green day sucks even more. They used to have cool songs back in the day, but now they don't, now they are just trying to turn emo on everyone, Radiohead is the best band. Their lytrics are smart, and the band members themselves are genuises, so...Radiohead is the best and Green day are just dumber than dirt.

I Don't really know Radiohead's music except for 'Creep' and 'Karma Police' and it is my impression that they need to get a life, take some classes from Green Day and learn how to have a good time. Green Day knows how to put out albums, they don't just pop out stupid songs to be aired on the radio, they construct brilliant albums, period.

To say anything about either band, you should at least have heard one of their songs. I am a Green Day and Radiohead fan. Is that so fucking wrong??? To me, both bands are enjoyable. Though, in my personal opinion, American Idiot is a better album than Hail to the Thief. OK Computer and the Bends are greatness, however.
Comparing these two bands is ridiculous. Radiohead offer more 'intelligent' music, in that it is multi-layered with meaningful lyrics. Obviously this is going to appeal to a more adult audience.
On the other hand, Green Day has far more instantly appreciable music, relying more on good tunes.
i think that having a go at Phil because he needed sleep for a concert is a bit unfair, particularly as Radiohead are 'family men', rather than the party animals like Green Day.
I think that it was pretty inconsiderate of Tre Cool to do that. I mean, really. The majority of the population have passed that stage of life after high school or college. Some people seriously need to learn to mature and grow up instead of always being the same party animal for the rest of their lives. I mean, are you going to be that wild and untamed when you're 50 or 60?
Look i've never really listened to radiohead but i for one like green day because they voice their opinions in an intelligent way at least thats what i think and you dont have to agree with me but they make music like that for themselves and not for anyone else they dont try to fit any molds like you think they do and weither you relize it or not you think that because of the way they look you think that they're posers and emo and not punk just because of they way they dress or something when in reality 'punk' is a way of life how you live every day so dont hate because they want to voice they're opinions cuz frankley they dont give a flying f*ck what you think

The irony is that you're comparing Green Day, who wrote Boulevard of Broken Lyrics for radio play, to Radiohead, who could have released OK Computer 2 in 2000 and sold 10 million, yet went with their artistic instincts.
Katie...Radiohead does the same things, voices their opinions in an artistic way, don't fit into any mould or box, and are generally more mature than the Green Day people, although their songs take much more getting used to than the latter. Maybe you should listen to some of their stuff, they haven't got all that fame for nothing, y'know.
I like both bands, but I'm personally more attached to Radiohead. Am glad that they are more mature.
