Michael Jackson May Take Stand
Apr 9, 2005, 7:06 GMT
Michael Jackson may be forced to give evidence at his trial for child molestation.
Legal experts in American claim recent revelations that he was caught performing a sex act on Jordy Chandler by a security guard in the early 1990s have badly damaged his defence and he may need to take to the stand at the Santa Maria courthouse in California.
Ralph Chacon, 46, has told the court he also saw Jackson kissing Chandler "passionately" and grabbing his crotch.
After Chandler made allegations against Jackson, his family received an estimated $25 million (£13.1 million) settlement.
Jackson has pleaded not guilty to 10 felony charges of child molestation, administering an intoxicating agent and conspiracy involving allegations of child abduction, false imprisonment and extortion.
The trial continues.
