The last set of pics of Angelina and Brad show them not kissing or holding hands, just playing with maddox. The tabloid so-call sources say they share a room. Both Brad and Jen deny having that kind of relationship but did admit to development a 'simple' friendship. Brad said the the last 'TWO' years of his life with Jen didn't work out--this is BEFORE he met Angelina. It's wrong to diss anyone when in reality no one knows the facts. It's always sad when a marriage ends. But it is true that both Brad and Jen felt it wasn't working and therefore proceed with a divorce. Divorce happens. In Jen's words she said what attracted her to Brad in the first place doesn't attract her anymore. That they also do not want the same things out of life (no place does it say what she means by that). Like it or not Brad and Jen no longer love each other. They're willing to part as friends and that's it. It's wrong to blame the break up on Angelina. Angelina is always being blamed for the breakup of every person she's worked with. She says there ISN'T that kind of a realtionship with Brad and you guys should give her the benefit of the doubt. It's a shame that if an actress is famous, beautiful, and single, and then gets some love scenes with men they are called all sorts of names e.g. Julia Roberts had the same problem.
OK you wants some tabloid talk here is my two cents based on what I've seen out there:
Brad marries Jen. There is a photo of him touching her stomach which to all the world indicates that he wants to have children with her. Talk says he wanted it and she said she's not ready lets wait until 'Friends' ends in a year. After one year the producers of 'Friends' want to go for another year. Jen renews for that year and 'it's said (tabloid stuff now) she did not ask Brad and Brad was quite upset. A year later Friends ends and I suspect those two may have tried for a baby. It's said (tabloid stuff now) that Julia Roberts advised Jen to just relax and it would happen. During these times when a couple tries and fails it is very hard on the marriage.
Jen gets some wonderful scripts come end 2004 to 2005. She would get to star with some real major talent e.g. Kevin Costner, Meryl Streep, etc.
OK so her biological clock is ticking. But OK it seems they also tried and failed. What is also known is that Hollywood is not kind to women of age. As actresses get older they don't get the parts. Jen also has to think of that. This is her golden opportunity also. So she signs for all these films. Tabloids claim she signed for for six back to back (that may not be true). Brad is really upset but come on he has been pretty much working back to back too--let's be fair. At some point in their relationship 'the tabloids claimed' that he asked Jen that perhaps they both retire since they both have enough money and just stay home and try to make babies. (Perhaps that was the earlier phase when they did--then it's said that later neither took the advice--no baby may as well work was what they claimed Jen thought. She thought that might calm her. Jan 2005 Brad is interviewed and oh boy Barbara Walters is doing it and she is VERY good at getting stuff out of people. She asks Brad what he really wants out of life. And he says he thinks about having a family. That having little girls like Jennifer would be so great and then there are tears in his eyes. Now guys does this sound like a man who is claimed to be running around with another woman? Jen turns 36 and Brad turns 41. Brad takes a bigger interest in politics--campaigning for John Kerry and visiting Nelson Mandela while Jen in the mean time is working. If you ask me this looks like Brad is having a mid life crisis. The tabloids say Brad has been telling his relatives that he had hoped to be a father by now. I guess another part of this crisis. Tabloids claimed that when Brad and Jen finally did get together they fought a lot. Then we hear their joint announcment for a separation and that no third parties are involved and to not believe any of the stuff that the tabloids where claiming--now if you are fans of either of them don't you think you should respect what they had asked. It's not clear who asked for the separation or if the decision to file for a divorce was a joint decision. Brad said there is no divorce. But days later Jen files for one. But hey when two people file for divorce what does that mean?
To me it means they don't think they have a future as a married couple and it just won't work.
i agree - i will leave them and agree with your comment. this happened for the best and we should not jump to give comments on somebody else's life. we should respect what they said at the beginning. however, i always pray that brad did not cheat or angelina did not do this to them. that is only my prayer. but all has happened and the choice they made is their own. best of luck to jen and brad. sandra from france

I think Jennifer is very sexy, with nice body and killer smile - I love this woman. I am very sure, she will find a cute guy very very soon. I think she takes her time - she is very mature. Brad is a little bit fast in that - he should take his time but I think he is too fast.
All of you seem to believe there is nothing between Brad/Angelina. Wait until June when their film opens - we will all see that they are a couple. I personally can't wait!

Melissa, why wish someone's career go down the drain? Do you wish people to be homeless as well? Jennifer didn't need Brad to pump up her career, she was an established TV star WAY before they got married. Her movies haven't been real movers but I haven't seen the Good Girl, Along Came Polly was good. And as fine as Brad is, he SUCK'S at comedy. Did you see how bad he was on Friends? I haven't seen Troy but I do want to. But the only thing I've heard about Troy is how cute Brad's butt was. No commentary on his acting except from Jen, which was pure adoration---like a good wife in love.
Everyone's speculating on how bad Brad and Jen's marriage was and the 'signs' he/they were showing....But did anyone see the picture of Brad and Angelina where she's got her head nustled up to him---and---he's got both hands in his pockets?
Jessica: that pic per Angelina and Brad said that was part of the movie. What is true is these tabloids are making a a lot of money out of all of this. Look what they did to poor Jessica and Nick. Personally I think Angelina would be all wrong for Brad. Angelina is different. She lived modestly in Cambodia, adopts children and refuses to have her own because she sees it as one less child to help from an orphanage. Brad likes to live big. He bought himself a multi-million dollar home in Malibu not far from where Jen plans to move (nr Courtney in Malibu). I think he's the one having the hard time with this divorce thing. After Jen filed for divorce Brad was caught speeding on his motorcycle doing over 100 mph (death wish?) If Brad wants to settle down, retire, and have kids he should really look for a non-celebrity who just wants that. That would make his life so much less complicated.

Why is Jennifer a cry baby once she let go Brad then she wants Brad back but I don't see why she wants him back again then Angelina comes along and Angelina and Brad are friends still.Then Brad says that he doesn't want Jennifer back because she loves to work but Brad loves to have fun but Jennifer isn't much fun as his friend Angelina so technicaly Jennifer is a big cry baby.

I agree with Julie. Angelina wants to be whatever she feels like being; first she hung a man's blood from her neck and made out with him in public like a foolish chld trying to prove something. Now she claims to be all normal and giving and just trying to give back to the world. I think she is crazy and wants to be someone she is not... In a couple of years Angelina will be someone new and in a couple years from then, another new person. All of you people talking about Jen being a bad actress, could you do what she has done? Also, in my book, people who wish bad on others really need to get a life and see the real bull thats going on in this world. You don't know anyone to wish their career would go down the drain...unless you have no life and these are the types of things you thrive on. Jen is beautiful and good at what she does, you should stick to whatever you do and enjoy. This is an intriguing split for a bunch of reasons.
Poor Brad, he had to leave Jennifer for Jolie. He
can always come back if he wants to. The man is a pimp. Its very uncool to be so publically unfaiuthful after claiming to be in a serious relationship with who has to be a friend. But perhaps brad and Jen already knew they were on the rocks. Jen wants to have a movie career - yeah, whatever, she's coming down the back side of the hill, and she aint no Meryl Streep. Angelina, on the other hand, is hot, has kids with no stratched body, and has large mammaries. The public should get a life and get to sleep with two women that hot. The interesting subtext is that Brad left miss America blonde for the steamy underbelly of ethnic (barely) Jolie. Akll the little cheerleaders and republican suburban blondes can see the writing on the wall - Britney-time, and jennifer-time is over. Blondes have stupided themselves up all over again.

I feel sorry for Jennifer. She totally didn't deserve what happened to her. I see Brad in a whole new way now. I never understood why people have affairs. What ever happened to just discussing the problems of your marriage WITH your parner, instead of going through roundabout ways to get what you really want? All he had to do was tell Jen it wasn't working, then move on. Instead he chose to cheat on her and put her through unnecessary agony. I'm definitely not seeing his new movie.
