I think Paula is a sweetheart and would not hurt anyone intentionally. I think it was a minor misunderstanding and she has taken responsibility for her actions. I do not believe that one mistake makes everyone doubt you and start nasty rumors... such a shame!

I agree, she was drunk last night. Sounds to me as if she left the scene of the accident to avoid a sobriety test, and that's why she got such a harsh sentence. The judge isn't stupid.

My husband has been saying for weeks now that Paula's eyes are all glassy (on American Idol)...I kind of shrugged it off. BUT, I woke him out of a dead sleep the other night when I saw Paula on Jay Leno!! She was definitely under the influence of 'something' and Jay certainly knew it. And...could she have gone on & one about Simon any more?!?!?

For the last three or four weeks, she's been drunk on American Idol. She's been entertaining to watch, but it's still a really bad sign... Perhaps we should stage an intervention?

Yea I just saw the episode of Jay Leno that she was on and she was def. drunk.. she was talking about her drinking problem and joking around but then admitted that's how she deals with her problems. She totally bashed Simon and Ryan... and half of the things/questions Jay said she didn't even answer with a logical response.. she was trashed.

Paula Abdul is unfortunately, a washed up, drunk, and seemingly very depressed celebrity. I hardly ever watch any of the late night talk shows, but I saw her on Leno last night and she was so ridiculously intoxicated it was pathetic and hard to watch. Obviously FOX could care less about her well being, they are using her condition as some sick marketing mechanism. Believe it or not, some people will actually tune in just to see her in a drunken stupor. For those you that say those who are stating the obvious are just jealous, come on!

I watched about 3 minutes of her appearance on Leno last night and had to change the channel. I was embarrased for her. This Idol gig is such a sweet deal for her (considering her 'talent'), it seems like she should, at least, be able to stay sober for the few hours that she's in front of the camara each week. It's like watching a train wreck.
