Martha Stewart has returned to her large estate north of Manhattan, having been released from prison.
Although now free Stewart must wear an electronic ankle tag for five months, allowing police to track her movements. Her release conditions allow her to leave home for up to 48 hours a week in order to work, shop or perform other actions approved by authorities. She will also be able to start earning again and has several projects lined up.
In a statement posted on her Web site Stewart described her prison time as "life altering and life affirming."
As well as running her company and writing copy for her magazine Stewart is set to revive her home show and host her own version of "The Apprentice."
